Missha super aqua cell renew snail cream is made up of 70% snail extract and 30% excipients. As well as the snail slime extract, this cream contains a number of additional active ingredients, namely baobab tree extract, botanical stem cell extract, deep sea water activate and phytoncide water.
Missha is a South Korean based skincare and cosmetics manufacturer that has been active since 2009. It’s a popular, established snail cream brand in Asia that has become one of the first choice snail cream products not only in Asia, but also throughout Europe and the US.
- It has a nice scent that isn’t too strong
- Doesn’t leave a sticky residue after application like some snail creams
- It’s non-greasy and lightweight, making it feel more luxurious than other creams
- You don’t need to use too much. A small amount will cover your whole face
- Absorbed quickly into the skin
- Contains a moisturiser, so no additional moisturising products are needed to prevent dry skin
- It’s cheaper than many similar snail creams
- There are better snail creams for people with sensitive skin, as some people say that it can sting a little and may cause a rash to breakout. This isn’t a problem for other skin types
- Doesn’t contain a sun protection factor (SPF) like some other creams such as Snail White
I’ve been using this cream for nearly 3 weeks and I’m amazed how good my skin looks. For years I was battling with dry patches on my nose and this cream is the only thing that actually helped. My skin is smooth, with more even tone and I didn’t have any breakouts since I’ve started using it. Amazing stuff.
I haven’t even tried this product yet, but I have high hopes from all the fantastic reviews! The Snail Cream pot is bigger than I expected. It arrived 1 day BEFORE estimated delivery (great!) and also came with a few surprise sachets: Innisfree apple juicy cleansing foam and canola honey serum; Skinfood Egg White Pore Foam; and Missha Super Aqua Refreshing Cleansing Foam. Lovely extra gifts. Thanks so much Missha! I can’t wait to use these products.
This is the most elegant feminine cosmetic product ever! Snail extract is very delicately intertwined in a very subtle (cucumbery?watermelony?) scent. Feels great on skin, gently working its magic. One con is the taste of it (!). If anyone tastes your cheek with a romantic kiss they will sure taste the bitter aftertaste

Missha’s snail cream smells like cucumber. It’s quite refreshing and not too overpowering.
Missha’s snail cream is light and gel-like, giving it an edge over other snail creams which are typically rich, thick and sticky. This texture makes it easy to apply and better at being absorbed into the skin than some of the other creams on the market.
Missha snail cream offers a good amount of moisture, both on contact and throughout the day, ensuring that your skin stays feeling soft, smooth and hydrated. It’s light, weightless and isn’t at all greasy or shiny in appearance like some moisturisers can be.
Use on your face, applying a small amount of the cream twice a day after cleansing, in the morning and evening. Missha snail cream does contain a moisturiser, however, use an additional moisturiser if necessary.
